WHAT WE DO     WHO WE HELP      BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Through the development and operation of its three core programs—Basic Needs, Life Skills, and Youth Development—MOLC provides free services to its clients.

BASIC NEEDS
Helps individuals and families stretch their limited income by offering warehouse shopping where clients can select essential clothing, furniture and household amenities, and limited food items. Additional services include counseling, case management and referral to other community programs.

LIFE SKILLS
Assists adults in developing valuable personal and professional skills; with the ultimate goal of improving employment stature. Emphasizing peer-to-peer support, participants attend classes and work with counselors to formulate and implement a two-year life map, which includes job search and career advancement strategies.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Exposes children and teens to cultural and educational experiences to broaden their horizon and to cultivate social and leadership skills. Activities include field trips, creative arts sessions, workshops, and community service jobs.
